Adventure holidays group Intrepid Travel says bookings for US trips from its British and Australian customers have dropped 30 per cent since Donald Trump became President in January.

Intrepid chief executive James Thornton said: “We’ve definitely seen a drop in outbound demand for the US.
“It is down around 20-30 per cent since Trump took office. That said, there are other factors at work here, such as the rising dollar, which means that its more expensive to fly to the US now.”
